Let me introduce you: Foundation for Financial Wellness

Dearest Friends and Colleagues,

It’s time to start posting articles on a regular basis again. I have so much to tell you and I’m going to focus on information that will be of value to you and your organizations/practices.

I am privileged to operate a business where my principal activity is bringing institutions together to improve outcomes for both employers and employees. You may ask how that is possible when there are so many struggles for businesses and employees. My secret is understanding where challenges abound, there are always great minds looking at innovative ways to address age-old problems and even some of those that seem intractable.

One such resource I am privileged to have as a partner is the Foundation for Financial Wellness. The Foundation for Financial Wellness is a timely and critically needed entity and it is one of the most universally valuable organizations I have seen. I will share a very little bit of information about the Foundation and encourage you to ask me how your organization can benefit.

The non-profit Foundation for Financial Wellness provides worksite based personal finance courses to employees – everything from basic budgeting all the way through to estate planning. Its classes and counseling sessions are provided at no cost to both employers and employees. In addition, they’re 100% non-solicitous. The program is very popular among employers – in fact, several Fortune 500 companies currently offer it to employees.

This is a program with provable ROI and it integrates with wellness initiatives that focus in other areas. It is the kind of program that improves the health and welfare of those who experience it.

The Foundation’s turn-key approach enables you to enhance yours or your clients’ benefits packages at no cost to you or to them, with minimal implementation effort on the part of staff.

Find the Foundation on the web at: http://www.foundationforfinancialwellness.org/

Find a concise summary of the Foundation’s value at: http://www.foundationforfinancialwellness.org/financial-wellness-made-easy/

The Foundation is deployable wherever there is a common platform for class coordination and great strides are being made for online deployment. I can arrange an introduction to principals at the Foundation and see what steps can be taken to make positive things happen for you and those you serve.

I welcome you to our new blog

Dearest Friends,

I am refocusing on the path that has been the principal work of most of my adult working life with a new sense of purpose in difficult economic times. In the coming months, I will be writing about the financial issues that greatly affect us all with a focus on both the government’s responsibility to avert economic crisis and the actions you can take to better protect your financial future and that of your families.

There is much to fear, but in all the past critical phases I’ve lived through, either I have found ways to prosper, or I have known folks who overcame the circumstances of our times in order to make things happen in a positive way.  I will combine the strength of relationships I have built over the past several decades in my governmental affairs work with a tremendous array of resources and experts in all areas of financial and benefits planning that I have at my disposal within reach of a phone call or a few clicks of a mouse.

We’re in this together. Some of what I publish will be harrowing, but I will always temper that with specific instructions for action. Here are words I’ve lived by: If you don’t like the laws, change them and if you don’t like the news, make something positive happen in your own life or the lives of your loved ones. I am living proof that one person can have tremendous power to change the world around us.

Remember these words: What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31 – English Standard Version)
